After 3 days and a lot of paper, the Baruch Notebook Recycling Program turned out to be a great success.

The First day started slow. We barely filled up 25% of one bin but as the days progressed more and more students dropped off plenty of paper and notebooks, some even dropped off outdated textbooks. 

In total we recycled 128

gallons of paper in only three days! 

So Congratulations to all of

you who participated!

Big Kirby wants to help the environment in every way possible. We use Go Green paper for all our print ads and encourage students to recycle their textbooks with each other on campus. 

Now we are launching a new program called Big Kirby's "Urge to Purge". 

From May 24-26 we will have a special booth set up on the second floor of Baruch College for students to drop off their notebooks, printed slides, and whatever other paper goods they have. 

The Recycling process will go like this:

-You drop off your notebooks with us. 

- After the program we give all of the goods to Secure Shreds who will shred everything so nobody can ever copy those notes. 

- Finally Secure Shreds will drop off all the shredded materials to Marcal (a paper recycling company in NJ) who will make recycled paper goods out of them.
